Onions (Red)

A large Italian heirloom onion with a flattened, round shape and attractive rose/pink to copper skin. The flesh is white with pinkish-purple layers. It tends to have a mild, sweet flavor, making it good raw in salads as well as for sautéing, roasting, and caramelizing.
